Transportation in Poznań

In Poznan you can choose to travel through the city either using public transportation (bus and tram) or using Taxi or Uber service. Although public transportation is efficient and very cheap, using Taxi or Uber service will get you fast to your destinations (taking Taxi or Uber in Poznan usually costs between 8-12 euro).

You can use Taxi service by calling the numbers given below. Also when ordering taxi please inform about paying by credit card. There is a possibility of paying euros (only banknotes) – not recommended. Price per trip from the airport to the hotel on a working day (6.00-22.00) is around 40 PLN (8-10 euro).

Access from Lawica Airport to Poznan Science and Technology Park (PPNT) via Main Train Station

  • Take bus 59 from the Lawica Airport to Poznań Główny (Main Train Station)
  • Get off the bus at the final stop, Poznań Główny (Main Train Station)
  • Take bus 51 from the Main Train Station towards os. Sobieskiego
  • Get off the bus at 12th bus stop: Naramowice
  • On the same bus stop take bus 67 towards Radojewo or 911 towards Biedrusko/Park
  • Get off the bus at 2nd bus stop: Bronisza.
  • Walk up to Bronisza street (along the main road – 180 m)
  • Turn right in Bronisza street and go straight to end of street (500 m)

Access from Main Train Station to the Hotels

Hotel Naramowice
  • Take bus 51 from the Main Train Station towards os. Sobieskiego
  • Get off the bus at 12th bus stop: Naramowice
  • Hotel Naramowice is on your left hand side around 100m from the bus stop.
Hotel ForZa
  • Take bus 51 from the Main Train Station towards os. Sobieskiego
  • Get off the bus at 12th bus stop: Naramowice
  • Hotel ForZa is on your right hand side around 100m from bus stop.
  • Walk up to Dworska street (back along the main road – 100 m)
  • Then turn left and go straight along ul. Dworska around 100 m. Hotel ForZa is on your right side.

  • Get off the bus at 8th bus stop: Wilczak
  • On the same bus stop take bus 74 towards os. Sobieskiego

Language

The official language of the conference will be English.

Insurance and Liability

Participants are advised to arrange whatever insurance they consider necessary. No responsibility can be assumed by the Congress for personal accidents, sickness, theft, or property damage suffered by the participants.

Climate

Weather in April is usually rather cold but sunny (10-14°C). However, there is some possibility of brief showers. Thus, a jacket and an umbrella may be useful.
